Megan,It's hard to believe that Sloane and Knox are arldaey two weeks old! I just watched the slideshow again yesterday because it was so sweet! That just shows you how fast it goes once they get here :) I am still awaiting my due date. I will be 39 weeks on Monday and I feel like it's going to take forever to get here. My last day at work was this past Thursday and it was a good day! God is so GREAT and I am so excited to start this new chapter in my life of being a SAHM and I can't wait for my daughter, Brynley, to join our family! It looks like everyone is doing really great and I just love all of the hair the babies have. Well, glad all of the appointments went well and I am looking forward to hearing more about Moms On Call. Happy Weekend,Lauralaurasblondemoments.blogspot.com

I know all too well the feelings of joy at having a new baby (or babies in your case) in your life and being able to finally bring them home! But also the conflict of still wishing you had your other child. Then the additional conflict of "would I have this child if the other child was still with me?" I had and lost my daughter April 14, 2007 and then had my son September 9, 2008. We only planned to have the one so I can't help thinking that if G had lived, I wouldn't have A who brings me more joy than I ever thought possible! So if I wish for her does that discount him? It's tough to go down those paths but I guess what I am saying is: your feelings are perfectly normal. I think all of us baby loss Mommas go through this stage. We just have to remember that the human ability to love is our greatest gift - we can love each of our children for who they are/were independent of each other.

Such a beautiful slideshow. Great memories for you to have forever! What gorgeous babies, they are. You truly were double blessed. God bless them. Just my opinion, but I think Sloane looks so much like her Daddy. I happened to see the slideshow from your wedding, and she looks a lot like Brent when he was little, but I also see features of you in her also. That is true of Knox also. I think he favors you, but I see some of Brent also. Guess they got lucky, and got great features from you both! Of course Angel Cohen is present in them both also. I think Knox, especially asleep, has the same expressions as Cohen around his mouth. They are simple just as precious as they come. Enjoy each and every moment with them. Such a beautiful family! Hope Elton will love them both also! I am sure they will all be buddies in the future.Sending Hugs,A Mom-Mom in NJ

I'm so lucky that I get to be a SAHM with our 10 month old son right now. I was one of those girls that always answered "a mommy" when you asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. Although I went to college and got a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, I was never crazy about that career track. I've dabbled in several jobs over the years, but never found anything that I wanted to turn into a life-long career. Next semester I am going to return to college (night classes) and work towards my Masters in counseling...something I have always been interested in. It was having my son that finally gave me the drive to go after my own dreams and at the same time be able to someday help provide the life I always wished for him. I joke that my hubby can then be a SAHD. Until that time, I am treasuring every moment at home with my son:)

Wow..I am literally speachless!First of all I am crying like a baby after watching the slideshow, and the song is adorable, great choice! I loved how it told the whole story of their births and you look amazing! I seriously cried when I saw the picture of BT snuggled next to one of the twins. My heart is so full of JOY for you both and thank you for sharing such personal, sweet pictures with all of us!Your family has truly touched me, and I am so happy and excited for all of life's great moments to come for Sloane and Knox! Love all of their cute monogrammed blankets and onesies, and they are just ADORABLE :)Happy 1 WeekLauralaurasblondemoments.blogspot.com

This awesome author adventure with Ms. Knox’s class sounds like the kind of experience children should be having in the development of literacy. I am so proud of N.I.E. for providing such wonderful experiences for children! The collaboration between the GF Herald and the GF schools is to be commended. I am pleased with the many resources that have been available for the students I teach. Good job, Sue!I would like to express my gratitude to those who contribute to the Newspapers in Education program in Grand Forks! Thank you!
